Privacy Policy

Last updated: 8 July 2026

Blank lets you describe an app out loud and watch it build itself. This policy explains, in plain language, exactly what data Blank collects, why, and the control you have over it. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to make your apps work and to keep them yours.

The short version

  • You can use Blank anonymously — no name, email, or phone number required to start.
  • We store the mini-apps you create and their data, scoped to your account.
  • We keep a small amount of coarse usage analytics and crash logs to fix and improve the app.
  • The prompts you type are sent to an AI provider so it can build your app.
  • No cross-app tracking. No advertising. No third-party analytics SDKs.
  • You can delete your account and all its data from inside the app at any time.

Anonymous by default

When you first open Blank, a device gets an anonymous session identifier. We do not ask for — and do not collect — your name, email, or phone number to use the app. This anonymous identifier is how the app knows which mini-apps belong to your device.

Optional sign-in

You can optionally sign in with an email address or with Google, so your apps stay yours across reinstalls and devices. If you do:

  • With email sign-in, we store your email address to identify your account.
  • With Google sign-in, we receive and store your basic Google profile (your email address and the basic profile Google returns to sign-in). We do not access your Google contacts, files, or other Google services.

Sign-in is entirely optional. If you never sign in, we never have your email or name.

What we collect and why

  • Your mini-app content. The apps you create, their settings, and the data you save inside them. This is stored on our servers, scoped to your account, so your apps and their data persist and stay private to you.
  • Coarse analytics. A small set of funnel events (such as opening the app or creating your first app), tied only to your anonymous session identifier. This helps us understand whether the basics are working. We do not build advertising or cross-app profiles.
  • Crash logs. Technical diagnostics when something breaks, so we can fix it.

AI processing of your prompts

To build an app from your description, the prompt you type (and the context of the app being edited) is sent to a third-party AI provider that generates the app for you. Please avoid including sensitive personal information in your prompts. This processing exists solely to generate and modify your apps — it is not used to advertise to you or to profile you across apps.

What we do not do

  • We do not track you across apps or across the web.
  • We do not show ads.
  • We do not embed third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
  • We do not sell your data.

Shared apps

Any app you choose to share gets a public link. Content in an app you share — and anything a person you share it with saves into a shared app — becomes visible to others with the link. Only share apps and data you are comfortable making accessible to the people you share the link with.

Deleting your account and data

You can delete your account and its data directly in the app: open your apps grid and tap “Delete my account & data.” This calls our account-deletion endpoint and removes your account and its access to your private per-user data. This action cannot be undone.

Data retention

We keep your mini-app content for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, your account and its access to your private data scopes are removed. Coarse analytics and crash logs are retained only as long as useful for operating and improving the app.

Children

Blank is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
